Paytm is a payment gateway which is in great usage these days. It is a digital payment platform that allows you to transfer cash into the integrated wallet via online banking, debit cards, and credit cards, or even by depositing cash via select banks and partners.
So here we have provided a step by step guide by following which you can easily create API keys for Paytm which allows your users to smoothly perform payment transactions on your website.
1. Firstly get logged in to your Paytm account if you already have. If not, then you can create your account by doing sign up.
2. After that go to the dashboard to generate your API Keys for Test Account (Staging).
3. Also when you are ready to go live, activate your account in the dashboard to get production account credentials by entering the required details in the form.
4. After having the test credentials, enable the test data mode from the Header of the Paytm website.
5. Now enter the keys in the respective fields in the admin panel of Paytm plugin which you have generated for the test account.
